The Semper Paratus Chapter of Federally Employed Women was chartered on November 18, 2019. The Chapter welcomed new members from Coast Guard Headquarters, the Fifth Coast Guard District, the Coast Guard Yard, and other units in the DC Metro region. The Chapter Officers were officially installed on December 10, 2019 by FEW leadership from the National and Regional organization.

The following strategic initiatives have been identified for the Semper Paratus Chapter of FEW and subcommittees have been formed to assist in executing the following initiatives:

• Membership
• Public Relations/Communications
By looking into these areas, FEW will be better poised to embark on making this the Organization of Choice for Leadership, Equity and Advancement of Women.
The Semper Paratus Chapter established a routine meeting schedule and accepted volunteers for several standing committees. The Chapter is in a growth phase. .
